A Night to Remember
On 23 August 2025, at the President’s Hall, Kelab Golf Negara Subang (KGNS), the Inner Wheel Club of Subang Selangor proudly celebrated the installation of our 16th President, Mrs. Rajani Vidyasagar, and her Board for 2025–2026, while also marking our 15th Anniversary milestone. The evening was beautifully complemented by a soft pastel dress theme, with members and guests adorned in elegant hues that added warmth and harmony to the celebration.
The evening was made even more meaningful as we honoured PNR Ms. Parimala, our Legacy Award recipient, for her dedication and lasting contributions to the Club.
We were honoured to welcome Ms. Rajeswari Karupiah as our Guest of Honour. A distinguished legal professional with over 32 years of experience and recently appointed Deputy Chairman of the National Wages Consultative Committee. She inspired us with her words:
“To give, we do not need abundance but a big heart.”
A message that truly reflected our theme, “Together We Give.”
Through our fundraising efforts during the evening, we will continue to give back by supporting meaningful causes. One key benefactor was the Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB). We were honoured to present our donation to Datuk George Thomas, CEO of MAB, in support of services and opportunities for the visually impaired community.
The evening was beautifully enriched by the soulful performance of Ms. Gayathri, who is partially visually impaired, including a delightful duet with DJ Mr. Nimalan. Adding cultural charm and youthful energy, students from SMK Taman Sri Muda’s Cultural Group captivated the audience with their angklung and vibrant dance performances.
We were truly heartened by the presence of our Inner Wheel and Rotary family: Datuk Padma Ramanathan (IWC Kuantan), Mekala (IWC KL North), Ten Sew Keoh (IWC KL), and the Anns’ of the Rotary Club of Pudu.
In line with our commitment to leadership and empowerment, we also provided stall spaces for budding entrepreneurs, nurturing the spirit of enterprise among the younger generation.
Our heartfelt thanks to Organising Chairperson Ms. Shanty Chandran and her dedicated team, as well as our emcee Ms. Asha, for ensuring a seamless and memorable evening. Sincere appreciation to everyone who worked behind the scenes;1 your efforts made this celebration truly special.
