Contribution to MGS School Band

On 26 August 2025, the Inner Wheel Club of Kuantan Indera Mahkota contributed RM500.00 to Methodist Girls School Brass Band at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Methodist, Kuantan.

A simple yet meaningful handover ceremony was held in the presence of Puan Zaleha, the Brass Band Master and club members led by President Samini who were accompanied by VP Datin Sri Suja Prem Chandran, PDISO Dato’ Pathma Ramanathan and Ms Doris Lee. The contribution will assist the band in purchasing musical equipment and supporting their activities.

The school is seeking donation to enable them to enter the National and World Championship in October 2025. In 2023, the school emerged as the National Champion and world finalist. However, in 2024, the did not compete due to lack of funds.

The initiative reflects the club’s mission in promoting youth development, fostering talent, and supporting music education in the community.
