October Meeting cum Diwali Fellowship
Our Diwali fellowship sparkled with warmth, laughter, and camaraderie!
We began on a thoughtful note as everyone joined in to read a beautiful Diwali poem together, followed by the President’s Award Presentation — a proud and meaningful moment for all. Congratulations Malar . You are our shining star n prized possession.
The Feast:
A mouth-watering spread featuring naans, chicken curry, aloo gobi, and tofu sambal for the spice lovers.
The delicious dahi phalay — courtesy of PP Rani Bedi — was a definite crowd favourite! Bhel Puri compliments of Sapna was simply too good!
Gulam jamun and Vegetarian Koftas from the DesiBoys for Anita and Sapna were more than delicious
All this paired perfectly with a refreshing Thai lemongrass, pandan & ginger drink. Meeta’s all time favourite
To end on a sweet note: kuih ros for bites and a sinfully good almond cake to celebrate our birthday girls.
The Vibes:
Colourful, vibrant outfits matched the radiant energy of our members — whose stories, laughter, and sharing could have gone on all night! With two potential new members joining as guests, we’re confident of growing even stronger as a group.
The Symbolism:
Our lighting of diyas — a joyful team effort with one hilarious retake — symbolised light over darkness. Could’ve been Oscar-worthy… if not for time constraints and just a tad more patience! (Aging has its moments!)
The Spirit:
A fantabulous get-together, made all the more special by everyone’s enthusiasm and participation.
Good job, Bangsar ladies!
Do or die, we always rise to the occasion.
