DC Visit and Deepavali Celebration

The Inner Wheel Club of KL North had the honour of hosting District Chairman Jillian Estrop on 6 November 2025, marking a meaningful and memorable day for our members. The meeting began with a warm welcome as DC Jillian joined us for an in-depth and insightful session. She guided the club through the recent revisions to the Constitution and By-Laws, breaking down the updates with clarity and offering thoughtful explanations. Her guidance not only enhanced our understanding but also strengthened our confidence in implementing the changes effectively. Members appreciated the open dialogue, the opportunity to ask questions, and the deeper connection it fostered within the club.

After the productive session, we continued the afternoon with a joyful and festive Deepavali lunch. The celebration brought members together in an atmosphere filled with colour, laughter, and warmth—an opportunity to unwind, reconnect, and appreciate the bonds that make our club so special. The shared meal was a reminder of the fellowship that lies at the heart of Inner Wheel.

At 3.00 p.m., the spirit of service took centre stage as members visited PJ Caring Home. We were grateful for the chance to bring cheer to the residents by presenting Deepavali gifts, food provisions, and daily essentials. The visit was filled with heartfelt interactions—smiles, conversations, and moments of genuine connection. Witnessing the joy on the residents’ faces made the experience deeply touching and reaffirmed our commitment to supporting those in need.

This meaningful outreach perfectly captured the Inner Wheel values of friendship, compassion, and service, concluding the day on a beautifully purposeful note.
