Inner Wheel Club of Kuala Lumpur at the Malaysian Human Rights Festival
Extending the Orange The World Movement onto a National Human Rights Platform
The Inner Wheel Club of Kuala Lumpur (IWCKL) participated in the Human Rights Festival, organised by the Malaysian Bar Council. IWCKL was invited by Senior Aloud — one of our supportive partners who also participated in the Walkathon Orange The World 2025 — to share their booth and help bring the message of safety and dignity for women and girls to a wider audience.
Through this participation, IWCKL sought to:
• Amplify the Orange The World message within a national human rights dialogue;
• Highlight Inner Wheel’s ongoing work to prevent violence against women and girls;
• Engage the public in conversations on empowerment, protection, and community responsibility;
• Strengthen collaborations with NGOs, senior groups, youth, and justice-focused organisations;
• Uphold Inner Wheel’s values of service, compassion, and social impact.
Our presence at this festival reinforces a shared global conviction:
Ending violence against women and girls is a collective responsibility — one that grows stronger through partnerships and community-driven advocacy.
IWCKL proudly continues its mission to build safer, more inclusive communities for women and girls in Malaysia and beyond.
