Feeding The homeless (Christmas Project)
Led by President Rozina members met at Deep Singh’s home for our Christmas outreach initiative
A warm breakfast of hot tea with Alu pronthay, Alu matter and mango achar generously prepared by Deep Singh and his team was the ultimate comfort breakfast to start our day.
This was followed by the packing of 150 lunchboxes, carried out with excellent teamwork and a cheerful festive spirit. Members also had the opportunity to chat with Mr. Deep Singh, founder of Nanak’s Kitchen, a charitable community kitchen that has been serving the homeless and needy for 25 years. His dedication and long standing service is very inspiring.
The project was a wonderful reminder of what we can achieve through team effort compassion and collaboration, reflecting our shared purpose of serving the underprivileged.
Donations and sponsorships to Nanak’s Kitchen can be made through IWC Bangsar or directly to Nanak’s Kitchen to support their ongoing service for the homeless.
