Strengthening Ties with Inner Wheel Sri Lanka-Maldives
On the morning of 15th December 2025, ISO and CC from IWC Apsaras, President and 2 members from IWC Bangsar, and District ISO Sumitra had the opportunity to meet up with District ISO Amal from Inner Wheel Sri Lanka & Maldives at Hotel Casa Del Rio, Malacca.
As both District ISOs exchanged gifts, and took photos with their bannerettes, we were treated to a sumptuous meal at the hotel’s cafe by the Malacca River. The gentle rain and refreshing fresh air made the meet-up truly relaxing and meaningful.
We spent a good three hours in warm fellowship, sharing personal experiences — both from life and our journeys as Inner Wheel members. It was heart-warming to realise that, despite our diverse cultural backgrounds, the experience of women are remarkably similar across the world.
