International Women’s Day Fellowship & Outreach at HTAR
On 8 March 2026, members of the Inner Wheel Club of Klang celebrated International Women’s Day with a meaningful outreach programme at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR), Klang. In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya festivities, members distributed goodie bags to hospital staff and patients as a gesture of appreciation, encouragement, and festive cheer.
The visit provided an opportunity to recognise the dedication and hard work of healthcare personnel, many of whom are women serving the community with compassion and commitment. The goodie bags also brought joy and comfort to patients receiving treatment, reflecting the club’s spirit of care and service.
Following the outreach programme, members gathered at Cinnamon Restaurant, Klang, for an International Women’s Day fellowship celebration. The gathering was filled with laughter, friendship, and meaningful conversations as members came together to celebrate the achievements, resilience, and contributions of women. It was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen bonds, share encouragement, and appreciate the spirit of sisterhood within the club.
The celebration concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony to commemorate International Women’s Day, creating cherished memories and reaffirming the values of friendship, fellowship, and service that unite the members of Inner Wheel Club of Klang.
