A memorable Ramadan evening with Toastmasters


On 10 March, Shan and Padmini accepted an invitation from fellow Inner Wheel members, Helen and Tunku Munirah, who are also members of Toastmasters Alor Setar to join them for a truly delightful Iftar gathering.

Set beside the statuesque art gallery and framed by the majestic silhouette of the iconic Masjid Zahir, the evening unfolded in an atmosphere of quiet beauty and reflection. As the time to break fast approached, the gathering came alive with warmth, friendship, and a shared sense of community.

Beyond enjoying the delicious spread prepared for the occasion, guests were invited to participate in the Toastmasters club meeting. Selected members shared heartfelt reflections on what Ramadan and fasting mean to them - stories that spoke of patience, gratitude, compassion, and spiritual renewal. Each sharing deepened the understanding and appreciation of the significance of this sacred month.

The evening was far more than just a meal; it was a meaningful celebration of fellowship, culture, and mutual respect. Laughter, thoughtful conversations, and moments of reflection created a truly memorable experience for everyone present.
