Invitation To The Charter Installation Of Sister Club IWC, District 900, Uganda


Members of IWC Butterworth were honoured to be invited to participate in the Charter Installation of our sister club, IWC of Bukomansimbi, District 900, Uganda, held on Saturday, 14th March 2026. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, loud applause, and joyful cheers as President Ann Namemba Janefransis, the Charter Committee, and the club members were officially installed and celebrated on this memorable occasion.

One of the invited speakers was IWC Butterworth’s President, Dr Lalitha Ramasamy, who warmly congratulated the newly formed club and acknowledged the dedication of Inner Wheel leaders who played a vital role in making the charter possible.

During her speech, Dr Lalitha also proudly announced IWC Butterworth’s contribution of US$373.00, which will help 23 girls remain in school, in support of one of the new club’s pioneer projects.

Also present at the event were IWC Butterworth’s International Service Organiser, Aasha Nambiar, Committee Member Sellam Murugiah, and Inner Wheel District 330’s Secretary, Lucy Barrock.
