Renewed Orange The World connections


IWC AS fondly recalls the immense success of the Orange the World Project on 5 December 2025, made even more meaningful with the support of YB Dato’ Hajah Halimaton Shadiah, ExCo in charge of Women and Family Affairs and ADUN for Bukit Kayu Hitam.

From the first moment the Club reached out to her, YB Dato’ did not hesitate. She mobilised resources and stood firmly every step of the way. Even the torrential rain could not dampen her spirit; she arrived to officiate the event, inspiring all with her commitment and warmth.

So when IWC AS received her kind invitation to an Aidilfitri open house in Changlun, three members - Ishka, Padmini, and Tengku Maheran took the opportunity to reconnect. It was a delightful afternoon where the trio was warmly greeted at the entrance by YB Kak Ton herself, who graciously ushered them to a VIP table to enjoy the delicious spread of festive delights.

The members were also pleased to meet Dato Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali, Malaysia’s Former Minister of International Trade and Industry, and had the opportunity to capture a memorable photograph together.

It was truly a lovely afternoon, made all the more special by the presence of YB Kak Ton. IWC AS looks forward to more such enriching partnerships in the months ahead.
