Listen, Talk & Connect: Language Development In Early Years Of Autism
titled “Listen, Talk & Connect” on 4th April 2026 (Saturday), held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Event Hall, First Floor, Rasa Prima, Seremban.
The programme focused on supporting early language development in children with autism. It was highly beneficial for parents, educators, kindergarten teachers, members of the special needs community, and therapists.
IWC Apsaras collaborated with Director of Sinar Bakti Special Needs Centre, Seremban, Dr Ananthi Tharmarajan and Rotary Gateway, on this meaningful project aimed at making a positive impact for the community.
A total of 48 participants attended the session, reflecting strong interest and support for early intervention and communication development. The programme provided valuable insights, practical guidance, and increased awareness on nurturing communication skills in children with autism by a Speech-Language Therapist Puan Noor Ra’idah Rufaidah binti Tuah.
As a gesture of appreciation, a token was presented to the speaker by Apsaras. Refreshments and lunch were also provided, allowing participants to engage and connect in a warm and supportive environment.
