A New Landmark for Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang


The Inner Wheel Club of Klang was honoured to join hands with the Rotary Club of Klang Central and Majlis Bandaraya Diraja Klang (MBDK) in the establishment of the newly inaugurated Rotary Roundabout at Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang.

This iconic landmark stands as a symbol of Rotary and Inner Wheel’s commitment to community service, civic pride, and collaborative partnerships. The project was undertaken to enhance the landscape and beautify the township while reflecting Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self.”

The official opening ceremony was officiated by Puan Norfiza Mahfiz, Director of Corporate Communications, MBDK, representing the Mayor of Klang. The initiative was made possible through the collective efforts of sponsors, contributors, contractors, volunteers, and community partners who worked together to bring the project to fruition.

As a small contributing partner, the Inner Wheel Club of Klang proudly supported the project and was honoured to have the club’s name screened on the Rotary Roundabout monument, symbolising the strong partnership between Rotary and Inner Wheel in serving the community. The project exemplifies how collaboration between non-governmental organisations, local authorities, and community stakeholders can create meaningful and lasting improvements to the urban environment.

The Rotary Roundabout is not only a new landmark for Bandar Bukit Tinggi but also a testament to the power of volunteerism, social responsibility, and community unity in making a positive impact on the lives of others.
