Hearts & Hospitality: A Festive Reunion in Kota Kinabalu

Distance means so little when friendship means so much! Over the recent festive Kaamatan Celebration Weekend, Pearl of the Orient Members Club Correspondent Sanny Mok and District Webmaster Merlin Gasper, along with their families, journeyed to the beautiful city of Kota Kinabalu.

A highlight of their visit was a heartwarming brunch, where they were graciously hosted by National Representative Datin Gillian Lee and her husband, Datuk Lee.

Delicious Food, Deeper Bonds
The afternoon was filled with laughter, incredible hospitality, and an absolute feast. While the food was undeniably super delicious, it was the lovely conversations and the genuine warmth extended by Datuk and Datin Lee that truly made the occasion special.

Looking Ahead: A Shared Vision
The gathering was also a wonderful opportunity to talk about the strong bonds between our clubs. Conversations centered around the highly anticipated upcoming joint project between IWC Pearl of the Orient Penang and IWC Kota Kinabalu on June 19th. Everyone is looking forward to this exciting collaboration with great enthusiasm and shared purpose.

The afternoon eventually drew to a close, leaving everyone with full bellies, beautiful memories, and even fuller hearts. It was a true reflection of the Inner Wheel spirit—friendship, hospitality, and service combined.
