Celebrating happy parents’ day – with joy, love, and goodwill basket presentation
On Monday, 8th June 2025, the Inner Wheel Club of Apsaras joyfully celebrated Parents’ Day in a warm and heartfelt gathering at the beautiful Dickman’s Residence.
The event commenced at 4:00 pm, welcomed by meaningful speeches from our President and Charter President, setting the tone for an afternoon filled with love, gratitude, and goodwill.
The highlight of the celebration was our club’s meaningful project — the presentation of the Goodwill Basket (Bakul Bantuan), comprising provisions and cash, to three deserving recipients. This gesture reflects IWC Apsaras’ unwavering commitment to serving the community with compassion and care.
The evening was made even more special as members came together for a delightful High Tea Potluck, with each member contributing lovingly prepared dishes. The centrepiece of the spread was a beautiful Parents’ Day cake, specially made by one of our talented members — a sweet tribute to the occasion.
Smiles and laughter filled the air as members and gift recipients gathered for a memorable photo session, capturing precious moments of togetherness.
The event concluded on a high note, with warm fellowship and joy shared amongst all 15 members present.
It was truly an afternoon to remember — a celebration of love, service, and sisterhood..
