Installation Of President Seema Unnithan

It was a lovely Saturday evening, 15th August, as members of the Inner Wheel Club of Johor Bahru (IWCJB) gathered with family and friends at Moonierena Restaurant, Johor Bahru, to celebrate the installation of President, Mrs. Seema Unnithan.

The occasion was kept simple, intimate and filled with warmth. The picturesque indoor ambience of the venue, together with the scrumptious food, added a special charm to an already memorable evening.

Dressed beautifully in a blue-themed colour palette, the members of IWCJB arrived well before the event, filled with excitement and happiness. It was wonderful to see everyone coming together to welcome President Seema as she took on her new responsibility.
The evening began with the installation of President Seema by our Immediate Past President(IPP), Mrs. Santhi Kathiresan. In keeping with the traditions of Inner Wheel, the ceremony commenced with the lighting of the candle followed by the recitation of the Friendship Poem.

Our Secretary and (IPP), Mrs. Santhi Kathiresan, then welcomed the members and families. She shared her personal journey as President of the Club and expressed her appreciation for President Seema’s friendship, support and guidance throughout her term.
The evening continued with an inspiring address by President Seema, who expressed her heartfelt appreciation for every member and acknowledged the valuable contributions each one brings to the Club. She also shared her vision and encouraged everyone to work together as one team, strengthening the bonds of friendship while moving IWCJB forward towards a successful and meaningful year.

A particularly special moment followed as President Seema received her regalia from IPP Santhi Kathiresan and then pinned the badges on each member, officially forming her new team. In return, she presented every member with a pink rose and a chocolate, a thoughtful token of appreciation and friendship that beautifully reflected the spirit of Inner Wheel.
And then, it was time for what everyone had been waiting for — the delicious dinner while catching up, mingling and getting to know our new members.

As the evening came to an end, everyone left with happy hearts, wonderful memories and a renewed sense of togetherness.

A new President, a new team, a new chapter — but the same beautiful spirit of friendship and service that brings us together.
