IIW Districts 330 & 345 ISOs Malaysia Day Meet up
District 330 & District 345

On 16th September 2021, the International Service Organisers (ISOs) of District 330, Malaysia with Datin Pathma Ramanathan at the helm and the ISOs of District 345, Bangladesh led by DISO Shafket Jahan had an Inter-District meet up. Fifty odd participants paid rapt attention to speeches, video presentations showcasing the diverse culture as well as places of attraction in the two countries.
On the Malaysian side, DISO Datin Pathma, Immediate Past District Chairman Shanti Menon and Past IIW Board Director Datin Pearl Jai Mohan addressed the participants. The Bangladeshi leaders who spoke were DISO Shafket Jahan, District Chairman Angela Mendes and Past IIW Board Director Dilruba Ahmad who offered all present a beautiful bouquet of red roses. Also gracing the occasion was the Deputy National Representative for Districts 330 and 331, Parimala Satheesan, District Officers, Club Presidents, Club ISOs- including moderator ISO Vicky Changi of IWC Kuala Lumpur City Center, also co-hosts ISO Patricia Rao of IWC Alor Setar and Sheena Sreedhar of IWC Johor Bahru.
Malaysian food and tourist attractions were well presented along with the history of Inner Wheel in Malaysia. The Bangladeshi cultural dances had everyone enthralled along with the scenic beauty of the country and the visuals of the economic activities of the people.
It was a lovely celebration of Inner Wheel inter-district sisterhood and showcased international understanding which is one of the main aims of International Inner Wheel.
